Accessibility Statement

A service accessible to all

01 Our Commitment

DARCŪS is committed to making its private VTC driver service accessible to as many people as possible, with respect for persons with reduced mobility, visual or hearing impairments, and any situation of disability.

This commitment covers both digital accessibility (the darcus.fr website) and service accessibility (the transport experience).

02 Website Accessibility

The darcus.fr website has been designed to comply as closely as possible with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the French RGAA accessibility guidelines.

The following measures have been implemented:

  • Proper HTML5 semantic structure (headings, lists, landmark tags)
  • alt attributes provided on all informative images
  • <label> tags associated with each form field
  • Functional keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter)
  • WCAG-compliant colour contrast ratios
  • Text resizable up to 200% without loss
  • Responsive design, readable on mobile, tablet and desktop
  • lang attributes for multilingual management (FR/EN)

03 Vehicle Accessibility

The Mercedes V-Class used by DARCŪS naturally offers favourable conditions for everyone's access:

  • Easy access thanks to sliding side doors
  • Generous interior space allowing comfortable seating for a passenger with reduced mobility
  • Ability to carry a folding wheelchair in the boot (upon request)
  • Integrated step for easier boarding and alighting

For any specific request (assisted boarding, child car seat, transport of a service animal, particular technical assistance), please contact us in advance of your booking so we can tailor the service to your needs.

04 Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content or features may present limitations:

  • Some decorative images may not have detailed alt text (by design, to avoid overloading screen readers)
  • The vehicle is not equipped with a motorised ramp for electric wheelchairs; assisted boarding by a third party may be necessary in such cases

We work continuously to improve these areas.

05 Feedback and Contact

If you encounter an accessibility issue on the website or during a service, your feedback is valuable to help us improve.

Contact us by the means that suits you best:

We commit to responding within a reasonable timeframe and taking your feedback into account.

06 Dispute Resolution

If, after reporting an issue to us and in the absence of a satisfactory response, you consider that an accessibility defect persists, you may:

  • Write to the Defender of Rights (Défenseur des droits)
  • Contact the regional delegate of the Defender of Rights
  • Send a letter to: Défenseur des droits — Libre réponse 71120 — 75342 Paris CEDEX 07, France
  • Website: www.defenseurdesdroits.fr

07 Updates to this Statement

This accessibility statement will be updated as the website and service evolve. Last updated: April 2026.
